BGR The Burger Joint Kuwait – Review
BGR began as a humble desire to remove all the frills and mess from the fast-food popularized hamburger and focus of what matter the most; ‘the Meat’. This franchise which began in Veteran’s Park – Bethesda, USA in 2008, soon found its way in many parts of the world and fortunately even Kuwait;).
This insanity called The Burger Joint and abbreviated BGR, is actually justified by the quality of the burgers. We went with the recommendations of the server and got The Burger (Kd 3.150), with mojo sauce, pickles, grilled onion tomato and lettuce, The Wellington with cheese (Kd 3.450) topped with caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, black truffles and blue cheese crumbles and Grilled Asparagus (Kd 1.500).
I have to admit, every bite was tantalizing! The best part of both the burgers is the meat. While the sauce and other condiments do add to the flavor and compliment the burger, the flavor of the meat stands out. Its chunky and juicy yet not sloppy and messy. The was one of the few places where the meat stood out. And let me add that you’ll have a burger cooked the way you ordered it. We got ours medium well.
