Cocoa Room Review

Cocoa Room Kuwait (8 of 25)Cocoa Room is an upscale restaurant in Kuwait owned by ‘Gastronomica’. The same group also managesCocoa Room Kuwait (20 of 25) Slider Station, Burger Boutique  and Open Flame Kitchen. These are concept restaurants and each of them have a unique design and character to them. This place is easy to find since its conveniently located somewhat opposite to the Sief Palace and is right next door to a line of restaurants such as Slider Station, Prime & Toast etc. We had gone for brunch at about 10:30 am and the restaurant was packed. The hostess was friendly and gave us a heads up that it may take about 20 minutes for a table. We could choose to sit outside on comfy sofas and the coolers were turned on as well, but unfortunately even for August the weather was not conducive for us to enjoy the food outside so we opted to patiently wait.

Meanwhile, we thought of going through their menu and in which they had a great assortment of dishes. They also had a ‘digital menu’ on an Ipad (something we had never seen anywhere) with pictures of the dishes. Honestly everything looked delicious and this left us a bit confused but eventually we decided to order the Halloumi Bruschetta (Kd 2), Sun Shine Slider (Kd 3), Morning Glory (Kd  2), Ninjawich (Kd 5), Roast Beef Benedict (Kd 4), Eggs Menemen (Kd 3), Peanut Butter Nutella Pancakes (Kd 4) and to drink Orange Juice (Kd 1), Apple Juice (Kd 1), American Coffee (Kd 1), Salted Caramel Mocha (Kd 2) and Still Water (Kd 1).. (5 people).

The likability of any dish is subject to the palate. So we personally don’t want to review each dish specifically. The Roast Beef Benedict was prettyCocoa Room Kuwait (22 of 25) popular but not everyone in our group would agree to that…but one thing we unequivocally agreed was that the quality of food served was very good. The service was pretty fast and one thing to note is that there was special attention given to the plating. It was all Master Chef Quality. The price is a bit on the higher side. Our Total Bill came upto KD 30. But we certainly got what we paid for..:)!!
