I-Hop is generally thought of every time we think ‘breakfast’. There are quite a few choices in Kuwait for this meal, but that depends on the cuisine you want (American, Indian, Arabic..etc). When it comes to American I-Hop would certainly be on our list. We have been to I-Hop quite a few times (USA and Kuwait) and every time our experience has been consistently satisfying. But unlike the earlier times this time I took a few pics and decided to share them.
As always you will be greeted with ‘Good Morning Sir / Madam, how are you…welcome to I-Hop….’ and a wide smile. You have the choice to sit in the patio or inside. Any day we’d prefer the patio but since its the common choice you’d better get there early for a seat or have the patience to wait :).
We ordered the Garden Omelette with Cinn-a-Stack Pancakes, Chicken Florentine Crepes and a Simple House Salad along with Coffee and Orange Juice. You really can’t go wrong with these dishes and every time we’ve had them they’ve always tasted great. Personally I think the crepes here are really good, though if I wanted to have a special omelette for breakfast I’d consider ‘Early Bird’ in Kuwait. The portions are pretty good and we usually skip out on lunch after this kind of breakfast ;).
The experience of having breakfast here at the I-Hop Avenues is gratifying and you don’t even have to worry about dust if sitting at the patio;). The food is good and the service is great. The Total bill for 4 people came up to Kd 17.000, which could be considered slightly on the higher side.
